Who's That Girl?

Hi bby! 

During my senior year of high school, I became interested in beauty products and learning how to manage my natural hair. Through research and trial and lots of errors, I preferred products that were natural and lacked harsh chemicals. It was difficult to find products that not only lacked harsh chemicals but also catered to my brown skin and hair type.

The beauty industry has come a long way but is still lacking inclusivity and diversity. Black and Brown people are not advertised for organic/natural, clean and eco-friendly products. This fact gives the illusion that these products are only for white people or deemed as upscale. I am determined to stop highlighting Eurocentric beauty and stigmas of privilege. Everyone deserves affordable clean beauty products.

My need to find the best affordable, organic/natural, clean and eco-friendly products became my primary mission. Even when I found one product that ticked two boxes it was still lacking elsewhere, on top of how much waste I was creating by continuously buying new products. This is how bybb came to fruition. I wanted to create affordable, organic/natural, clean and eco-friendly products for everyone.
